Residence Fees

Non-Refundable Application Fee $50 (NLC student) or $100 (non-NLC student) - Application fees are applicable to long term and short term stays.
(new prices in effect as of August 1, 2016)

GST (5%) and PST (8%) will be applied to all stays under 30 days

Long Term Stay

Damage Deposit $200

Residents in Long Term stay rooms must stay a minimum of two months (If your program length is shorter than two months you will be permitted to end your stay at the end of your program). After the minimum two month stay should you choose to move out you must give the Residence Manager 48 hours’ written notice.

Note: Applications for Long Term stays received less than 10 business days before the requested move in date will be assessed a $100 Late Application Surcharge. This surcharge is being implemented because there is additional work involved with last minute move ins and we want to be as best prepared for your arrival as we can.

  • Four Bedroom $510 per month per occupant
  • Two Bedroom $585 per month per occupant
  • One Bedroom $1105 per month

(Advance Cancellation Policy – minimum two business days/48 hours prior to arrival date on application)

Short-term Stay

(20 nights or less)

  • All short-term stay suites are four-bedroom units. Minimum stay 2 nights.
    (Minimum Advance Cancellation Policy - two business days/48 hours prior)

  • Check-out time 4 pm

  • $40 per night, or $240 per week, per occupant plus PST (8%) and GST (5%)

Executive Suite Stay 

  • These self contained hotel-style rooms are designed for short term stays. Cleaning provided once a week if requested.
    First night payment is required with application.
    (Minimum Advance Cancellation Policy - two business days/48 hours prior)
  • Check out time 10 am.

Suites with Two Bedrooms (Queen beds) and a shared kitchen:

  • $140 per night per room plus PST and GST. Weekly Rate $875 per week per room plus PST and GST. 

Suites with Three Bedrooms (Double beds) and a shared kitchen:

  • $95 per night per room plus PST and GST. Weekly Rate $570 per week per room plus PST and GST. 

No application fee charged for Executive Suite stays.

Note: Residence fees include electricity, heat, hot water, basic cable, access to the campus internet, and free parking for 1 vehicle/suite (plug in and non-plug in stalls are available). Rental fees are payable prior to, or on the first day of occupancy.

Fees and Payment
Residence occupants are responsible for payment for the first and last month’s rent or for the length of the program for which they are registered to stay on campus, whichever is shorter. Monthly payment in its entirety is due on the first (1st) day of each month. Non-payment of rent will result in initiation of eviction proceedings
