Fort St. John campus provides comfortable settings for students to learn. The campus is situated on the edge of Fort St. John City limits and is often host to the spectacular sights of moose, deer, fox and sometimes bear. Enjoy nature at its best, but please use caution and never attempt to approach the animals!

Campus living is affordable, convenient, and fun. Northern Lights College provides opportunity for success both academically and socially. The main campus building houses the campus cafeteria which offers a selection of low-cost meals Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. The library is also located here. The campus bookstore can provide you with textbooks and school supplies, and also sells an assortment of Northern Lights College logo items.

The residence has capacity for 102 students and includes assisted living units. Choose from two or four bedroom units. There is a two bedroom wheelchair-accessible suite on each floor. Each bedroom is furnished with a bed, small dresser, bookshelves, computer station, chair, and is internet and telephone ready.

 Each unit has a kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, table, and chairs. Each floor is equipped with a washer and dryer. Vacuum cleaners are available for residents' use. Long-term stay students provide their own bedding, linen, towels, dishes, and utensils. These items are provided to short-term stay students.

Open flames are not permitted inside the student residence. Pets of any kind are not allowed. Cleaning is shared equally between you and your roommates.

Fort St. John is a beautiful city with shops, museums, ice arenas, cross-country skiing, bowling lanes, golf courses, walking trails, ball diamonds, a swimming pool, theatres, and other outdoor and indoor recreational opportunities. It also offers a hospital, medical clinic, general practitioners, medical specialists, complete dental services, physiotherapy, and chiropractic services. The Fort St. John transit system operates at scheduled times throughout the day with a regular bus stop located on campus.
