Northern Lights Shine at Provincial Skills Competition

On , In College News

We are very proud of our Peace Region Skills Canada team. They came home from the provincial Skills Canada competition with pride in their accomplishments and the hardware to prove it. The team of 30 competitors, made up of gold medalists from the regional competition held at our Dawson Creek campus earlier this year, brought home a record 15 medals. Dave Beifort

Our students received the following medals:
Aerospace
Yoshan Lavoie — Bronze
In an interesting twist, our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering partnership with Okanagan College helped achieve a clean sweep at the podium. Two students enrolled in the Vernon program, Bradley Vanlerberg and Levi Nicholas, won the gold and silver medals.
