The Northern Lights College (NLC) Board of Governors ratified the College’s 2024-25 operational budget at the March 20, 2024, meeting, totalling $47,539,602, with a modest projected surplus of $26,285.
The approved budget includes funding for new positions to support the College’s operations. This consists of the addition of new faculty and staff roles, the establishment of an institutional research department, investment in the Registrar’s Office to enhance student records, systems, and registration, increased support for the Student Success Hubs, and ongoing funding to support programming in Fort Nelson and Chetwynd.
“This budget provides the resources to continue the work on our goals and objectives in our 2023-28 strategic plan, Moving Forward Together,” says Todd Bondaroff, President and CEO of NLC.
