ABTC 121 – Electronic Spreadsheet I

Students will study the basics of an electronic spreadsheet program.

Hours: 30 (Lecture Hours 15; Laboratory Hours 15)

Course Content:
Students will be instructed in the following topic areas:
- Formatting cells
- Copying and moving data
- Basic mathematical functions and formulas
- Saving and retrieving files
- Absolute and relative addressing
- Editing cells
- Applying basic printing options
- Identifying data types
- Sort
- Using search and replace
- Creating charts


Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to:
- Correctly use the basic functions of an electronic spreadsheet program

- Students will understand absolute and relative addressing, cell data types, file commands, and cell formatting


Grading System: Percentage


Passing Grade:  70% 


Percentage of Individual Work: 100
