WFTR 126 - CPR D Babysaver/Childsaver

Infant and child resuscitation techniques are taught and practiced in the four-hour course. Common causes and prevention of childhood accidents are reviewed. Signals and actions of heart attacks are NOT covered. Red Cross certification 4 years.

Course Content:
In this course you will cover:
- Checking for Consciousness
- Airway, Breathing and Circulation
- Conscious Choking for a Child and Infant
- Unconscious Choking for a Child, or an Infant

- Rescue Breathing for a Child or an Infant


Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course participants will have the skills to assist a conscious or unconscious Infant or Child under the age of 8 years old, when one-rescuer CPR is required or when they are choking.


Grading System: Pass/Fail


Passing Grade: Pass (There is not a specific passing grade. Whether the student passes or not is dependent on the Instructor's evaluation of how the student is able to demonstrate what they have learned)


Percentage of Individual Work: 100
