ABTC 121 – Electronic Spreadsheet I
Students will study the basics of an electronic spreadsheet program.

Credits:  2

Hours: 30 (Lecture Hours 15; Laboratory Hours 15)

Pre-Requisites:  None

Course Content:

Students will be instructed in the following topic areas:

  • Formatting cells
  • Copying and moving data
  • Basic mathematical functions and formulas
  • Saving and retrieving files
  • Absolute and relative addressing
  • Editing cells
  • Applying basic printing options
  • Identifying data types
  • Sort
  • Using search and replace
  • Creating charts
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to:
  • Correctly use the basic functions of an electronic spreadsheet program
  • Students will understand absolute and relative addressing, cell data types, file commands, and cell formatting
Passing Grade:  70%
