This module covers procedures and paperwork for accomplishing scheduled inspections on aircraft.

Prerequisite: Admission to the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Program
Course Content:

P11-1 Fixed Wing Scheduled Inspection

  • Complete a scheduled inspection
  • Complete a run-up to check operating perimeters
P11-2 Helicopter Scheduled Inspection
  • Complete a scheduled inspection
  • Complete a run-up to check operating perimeters
P11-3 AD Search
  • Review aircraft logbooks for compliance with airworthiness directives
Learning Outcomes:
  • The student will complete a scheduled inspection on a fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including ground run.
  • The student will research aircraft records for compliance with airworthiness directives.
Grading System:  Percentage

Passing Grade:  70%
