This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of the general operations of various utility companies. The course introduces types of general construction techniques, route selection, government acts and regulations, land acquisition, rural electrification, legal agreements and land agent responsibilities. The course examines land documentation pertaining to highway acquisition and rural gas co-ops.
