Concentrating on the principles, techniques, processes and materials of painting not normally available under existing courses. Projects will encompass various approaches to painting for students wishing more in-depth study at the introductory level.

Course Content:
The focus of the projects in this study will be the further exploration of the elements and principles of painting and mixed media through the use of traditional and contemporary tools, surfaces and techniques. the number of projects will be determined by the type of study undertaken through consultation between the instructor and student.
