Course Content:
-Checking for consciousness, airway, breathing and circulation
-Conscious choking for an adult or child over 8 years old
-Signs and symptoms of a heart attack
-Orientation on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course participants will have the skills to assist a conscious or unconscious adult or child over the age of 8 years, when one-rescuer CPR is required or when they are choking.
