Participants will learn safe operating practices and procedures for the safe operation of a skid steer loader. Statistics show that trained operators are less likely to become involved in costly incidents that cause personal injury, property damage, or product loss.

Topics covered in this course are:
-Fundamentals of safe Skid Steer Loader operation
-Pre-use inspections
-Safe operation of the Skid Steer Loader and associated attachments
-Safe handling of loads
-Safe task procedures


Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course participants will:
-Understand the design and limitations of a skid steer loader
-Know how to conduct a pre-use inspection of a skid steer loader
-Demonstrate safe operating procedures of a skid steer loader
-Know the roles and responsibilities for the safe operation of a skid steer loader and it's attachments

Pass/Fail

Passing Grade:
80% on written and practical

Grading Weight:
Final Exam: 100 %
