Northern Lights College has a team of professional Workforce Training coordinators and instructors who are happy to serve your educational and training needs. Industry training can be scheduled at the convenience of employers.
All courses are not offered at all campuses, nor are all courses scheduled on a regular basis.
Online courses
Some courses are available online through local Workforce Training departments. Call the Workforce Training Department at your nearest Campus.
Safety Training
Some safety training courses are offered online through computer connections at your local NLC campus. Courses include: WHMIS, Bear Aware, Ground Disturbance, PST (Petroleum Safety Training IRP #16), CSTS (Construction Safety Training System), and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
Ed2Go
Classes start on the second Wednesday of every month. Course areas include Computer Applications, Personal Enrichment, Grant Writing and Non-Profit Management, Writing and Publishing, Starting your own Business, Health Care, and Nutrition and Fitness to name just a few.
