Millwrights dismantle, move, install, change layout, set-up, repair, overhaul and maintain all machinery and heavy mechanical equipment, including power shafting, pulleys, conveyors and hoists. They work from plans and blueprints and install equipment using hand tools, power tools, and hoisting equipment. Millwrights use grinders and lathes to make customized parts and construct machinery foundations.
The Millwright Apprenticeship Training Program includes levels 1-4 of the SkilledTradesBC prescribed Apprenticeship training. See SkilledTradesBC for more information.

- The program is not eligible for Canada Student Loans.
- Students must provide personal protective equipment (footwear having CSA safety-toe protection and CSA safety glasses with clear lenses).Students are required to have a computer (laptop or other mobile device) with minimum computer requirements.
- The program is affiliated with SkilledTradesBC.
