The Fort St. John Campus has a relaxed atmosphere where students may gather to study or visit, in common areas such as the cafeteria, Northern Bites, which offers a variety of delicious homemade lunches and snacks, the Atrium, or the outdoor patio (during seasonal weather). The local Student Council also plans a variety of recreation activities both on and off campus for students and their families.
