NLC has modern, safe, and affordable student housing available on our Fort St. John and Dawson Creek campuses. Students can have their own bedroom and share living and kitchen space with a small group of other students. Each campus residence has a community room for events and socializing. Support from our Residence Assistants, who are upper-year students living in housing, is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Both campuses are on local public bus routes, so you can live on campus and take the bus to go shopping, go out to a restaurant, or to go to a part-time job. On a cold winter day, nothing beats a one-minute walk to class.

Both Fort St. John and Dawson Creek have many private rental accommodations available, in houses and apartment buildings. Many rentals are close enough to walk to campus, while others require use of the local public bus.
NLC offers a limited number of homestays for our ESL students in Fort St John. A “homestay” means you live with a local family, usually just for one semester. It is a great chance to practice your English at home, while learning about Canadian culture.
