The Northern Lights College Foundation has awarded four recipients winners of our 2018 student writing awards. Judges took into account the originality of subject matter, quality of execution and structure, and quality of research.

Delegates from the Linyi Advanced School of Finance and Economics in Shandong Province in China visited our Fort St. John campus last week. The group met with college officials and toured the facilities.
We are very proud of our Peace Region Skills Canada team. They came home from the provincial Skills Canada competition with pride in their accomplishments and the hardware to prove it. The team of 30 competitors, made up of gold medalists from the regional competition held at our Dawson Creek campus earlier this year, brought home a record 15 medals.
This year’s awards recognize the late Gary Dunaway, Tom Hamilton Sr., Robin Jobin, Lorraine Ravelli, and Darshan Syal.
Our aircraft maintenance engineering program took the wrapper off a Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm Bo 105 yesterday that the Canadian Coast Guard had donated to us.
