Course Content:
- Using spreadsheets as databases
- Using advanced functions including financial functions
- Using advanced formatting features
- Writing and using basic macros
- Linking worksheets and files
- Using analysis tools
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to
- Use financial functions, data tables, amortization schedules, and hyperlinks within a spreadsheet
- Plan, create, modify, and present spreadsheets containing advanced list functions including filter, sort, and query options
- Use advanced formatting options in Excel
- Create PivotTables and PivotCharts
- Create templates and work with multiple worksheets and workbooks
- Plan, create and present a custom Excel application using complex functions and macros
- Use built-in financial, logical, and lookup functions appropriately and correctly to solve problems and critically assess the results
