The course will explain why weight and balance affect aircraft and how to safely work when leveling or jacking aircraft.

  • jacking
  • leveling
  • weighing
  • installed equipment list
  • weight and balance report
  • amendment requirements
  • regulatory requirements
4. Differences between fixed and rotary wing aircraft weight and balance procedures, e.g. Lateral center of gravity.

 

Learning Outcomes:
The student upon completion of this course will be able to explain the requirements and importance of weight and balance in both fixed wing and rotary aircraft and its impact on flight, and various processes in maintenance.
