IIFT 150 Industrial Instrument Mechanic Practicum

This is an unpaid practicum which will be set up with assistance from the trades staff.  The practicum will be supervised and evaluated by Northern Lights College staff and the employer.  Students will be expected to apply theoretical knowledge, select and use appropriate tools, verify and diagnose problems at a first year apprentice level.

Enrolled in Industrial Instrument Mechanic Foundation Trades Training program

Course Content:
Improve and expand on skills and theory taught in the Industrial Instrument Mechanic Foundation/Level One Trades Training program.

 

 

Learning Outcomes:
Student goal is to gain experience and demonstrate skills learned in the class/lab session.  Perform first year apprentice tasks as assigned.
