This course will provide all of the areas of study that a Millwright Apprentice requires to obtain Level 4 Technical Training Certification. Level 4 continues to build the knowledge of previous levels, and prepares learners for the Interprovincial Examination.
Level 4 consists of maintenance and servicing prime movers; from stationary engines to turbines, different compressor designs and functions, and overhaul and startup procedures. Vibration analysis and balancing, and other forms of non-destructive testing that take place in industry are also reviewed. Students who successfully complete Level 4 qualify for the Interprovincial Examination and Journey person status within the industry.

Successful completion of Level 3 Apprenticeship Technical Training OR successful challenge of Industry Training Authority Level 3 Placement Exam.
