Is the library open?
Library staff are providing library services and support remotely, in addition to contactless pickup service for physical library materials on campus.

Can I borrow physical books, including textbooks, from the library?
The Library provides access to our print book collection with a contactless pickup service to all current NLC students, faculty, and staff.  The library also provides access to over 200,000 e-books in its collection, accessible through OneSearch and ProQuest E-book Central. Ebooks in ProQuest are unavailable though OneSearch.

How do I use library resources to find the information I need for my papers and projects?
Contact library staff or AskAway (our online chat service), use our subject guides and how-to guides for information on searching our library catalogue for physical materials, searching databases for articles and other resources, and reading and downloading e-books, or contact Dawna Turcotte, the regional librarian, for a personal consultation.

How do I create citations?
Refer to our citation style guides, which provide extensive coverage of citations. You may also contact library staff or AskAway for assistance.

How do I login to access electronic materials?
Enter your 7-digit student number. It is located on any NLC registration form or your NLC student ID card. Omit hyphens and spaces, for example: 0123456. There is no password. If you have problems logging in, please contact Dawna Turcotte for assistance.
