Login as a student

MyApps

MyApps is your portal to programs that help your academic efforts, such as Office 365 and our library system, as well as an access to services related to your studies and student life at Northern Lights College.

Where do I access my NLC MyApps student account?+

Open https://myapps.nlc.bc.ca and login using your NLC account ID and password.

What if it’s my first time logging in?+

If it’s your first time logging in, hit the Forgot my Password link.

What is my NLC account ID?+

NLC account ID - this will be your student ID followed by @students.nlc.bc.ca

Eg. 0012345@students.nlc.bc.ca

Where do I find my student ID number?+

If you do not have a student ID card yet, you can find your student ID number in two places:

Printed in the top right corner of your registration statement

On all official communications, including your admission letter, from NLC

If you still cannot find it, please contact Campus Services at 1-866-463-6652 or at your nearest campus.

I got an error message when logging in. What do I do?+

There may be a few reasons you received an error message. Check out our troubleshooting guide for some answers.

I am former staff/student. How do I login to Borealis?+

Log in to Borealis here: https://borealis.nlc.bc.ca/Student/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=%2fStudent

Login as a faculty or staff member

As a faculty or staff member at Northern Lights College, you have access to our three major informational portals – NLC MyApps, D2L, our Staff Only Site, as well as our Helpdesk for any IT issues.

MyApps

Use this for Office 365, OneDrive, and more. Login using your NLC account ID and password. If you’ve forgotten your password or it’s your first time logging in, hit the Forgot my Password link.
