As an NLC skater, you’ll be supported by a dedicated NLC coach, a local physiotherapy clinic, and a health and wellness specialist to ensure you reach your maximum potential.
Weekly Training Structure:
- On-Ice Sessions: 4–5 sessions per week on the long track oval.
- Dryland Training: 1–2 strength and conditioning sessions weekly.
- Community Involvement: Skaters are encourages to participate in monthly time trials and support events with the Fort St John Recreation and Speed Skating Club.

Scholarships and Elgibility:
- Funds are available for prospective student athletes. These funds are accessed through a straightforward application process.
- You must be registered in a Northern Lights College program or registered with one of our partners
