Applying to NLC as an International student

Once received, complete the application form, and submit it with copies of transcripts, English language test results, and a copy of the photo page of your passport. Once NLC has received a completed application, you will receive instructions on payment of the $100 CAD application fee.

If your application meets our admissions criteria and there is sufficient space in our programs, you will receive a Letter of Offer.

To confirm your spot at NLC, and to receive a Letter of Acceptance for your study permit application, you must pay a deposit of $7,500. Applicants planning to apply for a study permit through the Student Direct Stream (SDS) may make a larger deposit, as needed. NLC will provide applicants with instructions on payment of their deposit.

If you are accepted to NLC, we will send you a Letter of Acceptance once we receive the tuition deposit payment. In addition to the Letter of Acceptance, we’ll also send a Welcome Guide to help you prepare for your arrival at NLC.

After you receive your Letter of Acceptance, you will need to complete your study permit application with the Government of Canada at the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada website. The Government of Canada provides more information about study permits and how to apply through the traditional stream or the Student Direct Stream.
