Making a Payment

There are a variety of ways to pay your deposits, tuition, and other fees.

brand shape

Make your payment online using the Touchnet web application. Payment is applied directly to your student account so you’ll immediately see your account balance.

TouchNet supports Visa, MasterCard, and Interac Online for selected Canadian banks and credit unions. It even allows anyone to put a payment towards your account without you having to give them direct access.

To use TouchNet:

  • Log into MyApps
  • Click the Borealis icon
  • Select the “Student Finance” dropdown menu
  • Click the “Make a Payment” button
  • Review your account, and make a payment

You can make a payment at Campus Services during regular business hours. The college accepts credit cards, debit (Interac) cards, cheques, and cash. You can also present your Passport to Education or sponsorship letters here.

Please Note: Northern Lights College does not accept cash payments of over $3000 per invoice.

Most banks and credit unions allow payment directly from your bank to the College.

To pay with online banking:

  • Go to your Bill Payments section
  • Select Northern Lights College as the payee
  • Use your student number (7 digits) as the account number

It takes a minimum of 2 business days for your bank to process the payment and send the funds to NLC for processing. If you completed your online banking payment less than 48 hours prior to your deadline, email your payment confirmation number to studenthelp@nlc.bc.ca. We strongly encourage you to process your payment with enough time to accommodate this delay.

Campus Services can process a credit card payment over the phone. To put through a payment, call 1-866-INFO-NLC (866-463-6652).

Students outside of Canada can make payments using Convera. For detailed instructions, see here.

Students may allow others to pay on their behalf and can make those arrangements directly with the payee, see here.
