Kim McPhedran, Executive Director of Northern Lights College Foundation, made the presentation to AME students Jarred Sellmeyer, Jacob Wyers and Bob Thomson along with Heavy Mechanical Trades student Drake Young and Social Services Worker Program student Lindsay Balkwill.

“There is always a lot of excitement around awarding bursaries and scholarships, both for the students and the Foundation” said McPhedran. “We are fortunate to have such generous donors that are invested in our students and provide financial support to so many. These NLC Foundation Entrance Awards are graciously funded by NLC Foundation Board.”

The Northern Lights College Foundation Entrance Awards assist students with their education costs. The Foundation distributes over $300,000 in awards and program support annually and as of March 31, 2017, the Foundation’s assets and endowment funds totaled over $3 million.
