NLC’s AME program recognized by the Canadian Forces

DAWSON CREEK – The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) program, based at the Dawson Creek Campus of Northern Lights College, been recognized by the Canadian Forces.

This recognition signifies that NLC has accelerated the career opportunities for graduates of the AME program who may be considering a career in the Canadian Forces by providing them with advanced standing as an Aviation Systems Technician (AVN).

Also, AME students who are considering a career in the Canadian Forces are eligible to receive a salary (with benefits), and support to offset tuition and materials if enrolled through the Canadian Forces Non-Commissioned Member – Subsidized Education Plan.
