DAWSON CREEK, BC — The Northern Lights College (NLC) Board has approved a balanced budget for 2026/27, underscoring the institution’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
The budget was approved by the NLC Board of Governors on March 18, 2026, and takes effect on April 1, 2026.
The balanced 2026/27 budget is firmly grounded in our 2023–2028 strategic plan, Moving Forward Together, and reflects careful alignment of programs and resources with enrolment demand and funding models that support sustainability and learner access.
“We are very excited about the opportunities ahead. The 2026/27 budget supports thoughtful growth, including the introduction of new programs that respond to evolving labour market needs, while strengthening the programs and services that define who we are,” said Todd Bondaroff, President and CEO, Northern Lights College. “It enables us to continue building momentum as an institution and ensuring we remain relevant and responsive in a changing environment.”
