Our Airport Management & Safety programs’ purpose is to provide workers, currently employed by local and regional airports in Canada, or those considering a career in airport management, the opportunity to increase their skills in quality control, standard airport operations, and safety compliance mandated by Transport Canada. All courses are taught by Didrik Strand, a retired Transport Canada Civil Aviation Safety Inspector.

This course is intended for anyone working at an airport. You’ll learn about the foundations of airport compliance through Transport Canada. Upon completion, you’ll be able to assess your airport for standard compliance, identify deviations from the standards and how to report deviations. You’ll learn the standards of runways, taxiways, aprons, obstacles and property lines.
