This course will help prepare pregnant people for the common experiences of pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, while also providing their birth partners with practical ways to support and advocate for them in the midst of a big life transition. Learners will have the opportunity to explore the various routine and alternative options associated with childbirth, from coping strategies, interventions, medications, positions and more – giving each birthing person a chance to develop their understanding of what is to come, and how to make decisions about their care and birth experience feeling confident and empowered.
Tuition includes 1 pregnant individual and support person.
