How to Clear Your Browser History
Desktop Browsers
Google Chrome (Desktop)
- Press Ctrl + H to open History.
- Click Clear browsing data on the left.
- Choose the time range (e.g., Last hour).
- Select:
- Browsing history
- Download history
- Cached images and files
- Optional:
- Cookies and other site data
- Passwords
Microsoft Edge (Desktop)
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
- Choose the time range.
- Check:
- Browsing history
- Download history
- Cached images and files
- Optional:
- Cookies and site data
- Passwords
Brave Browser (Desktop)
- Click the menu (three lines or dots) in the top-right.
- Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.
- Choose a time range.
- Select:
- Browsing history
- Cached images and files
- Optional:
- Cookies
- Saved passwords
Firefox (Desktop)
- Type about:preferences#privacy in the address bar.
- Scroll to Cookies and Site Data, then click Clear Data.
- Alternatively, under History, click Clear Recent History.
- Choose the time range and check:
- Browsing & Download History
- Form & Search History
- Cache
- (Optional) Cookies
Mobile Browsers
Google Chrome (Android/iOS)
- Tap the menu (three dots).
- Go to History > Clear browsing data.
- Choose a time range.
- Select:
- Browsing history
- Cached images and files
- Optional:
- Cookies and site data
- Saved passwords
Samsung Internet (Android)
- Tap the menu (≡) > Settings.
- Go to Personal Data > Delete browsing data.
- Select:
- Browsing history
- Cache
- Optional:

Brave (Mobile)
- Tap the menu (three dots).
- Select History, then Clear browsing data.
- Choose what to delete:
- Browsing history
- Cached files
- Optional: Cookies, Saved login data
Safari (iOS)
- Go to Settings > Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data.
- For more advanced options:
Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data
