Northern Lights College is working with First Nations to improve access to education.

NLC president and CEO Todd Bondaroff, Acting Vice President of Student Services and Community Relations Scott Clerk, NLC Board of Governors Chair Tyler Holte, and Indigenous Relations Coordinator Richard Resener recently met with the Taku River Tlingit First Nation (TRTFN) in Atlin, and marked the beginning of a partnership that will benefit both NLC and TRTFN going forward.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by both parties to develop educational opportunities for TRTFN.

“NLC is pleased to be working collaboratively with the Taku River Tlinglit First Nation to develop educational opportunities that are mutually beneficially,” says President Bondaroff. “We look forward to the good work that will be accomplished because of this partnership.”
