Students who showed the best trades skills in the Peace are headed down to the 24th annual Provincial Skills Canada Competition at the Abbotsford Trade and Convention Centre.

DAWSON CREEK - Northern Lights College marked an important milestone today with the official ground breaking of a new $33-million trades training facility at its Dawson Creek campus.

REGION WIDE – Last month Peace Energy Week welcomed students from across the province to learn about the Peace Region's natural resource sector.

DAWSON CREEK – Several Aboriginal students were pleased to complete their Welding Foundation program recently. The students were awarded a BC Hydro Award or TransCanada Award, both of which provided funds to complete the program.

DAWSON CREEK - The TransCanada Pathway to Pipeline Readiness Bursaries have been a monumental success for learners at Northern Lights College.
