Enhanced Carpentry Foundation students learn the entire process of building construction, from framing the walls to installing the roof trusses. Over a dozen homes have been built in Dawson Creek through the program. 

This project combines the hands-on learning required for the enhanced carpentry foundations course, while offering a valuable service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities.

This barn will not only support the community during the Dawson Creek Exhibition and Rodeo, it will also serve as an emergency evacuation space for animals in surrounding communities in the case of forest fire or other natural disaster.
