A fresh, new space to support students has opened on the Fort St. John Northern Lights College (NLC) campus. The Student Success Hub is an accessible, one-stop shop for current students to access a variety of services from knowledgeable staff.
In the Hub, services such as learning support, international student support, educational advising, and information about student council and campus events are available. These services are available for all current students from academics to trades, and everything in between.
“With this new space on our Fort St John campus, we aim to improve the student’s journey at NLC, provide the wrap-around supports needed for personal and academic success, and contribute to a vibrant campus experience for all of our students,” says Scott Clerk, Associate Vice President of Educational Services.
The Hub is a safe space for students to study, decompress, and—in some cases—share difficult emotions and personal issues with staff who can help. Don’t be shy, pop in and say hi to the team.
