Now that the days are getting longer and the end of the school year is in sight, it’s the perfect time to make plans for the summer months!
Thanks to the generous support of Shell Canada and Rumble Industries, Northern Lights College (NLC) Continuing Education is hosting a series of summer Youth Camps aimed at getting young people working with their hands, as well as their minds.
“We hope to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help learners feel at home at NLC,” said Chante Patterson-Elden, Dean of Continuing Education at NLC. “It’s not just about preparing for future education; it’s about inspiring a love for learning and showing youth they can pursue education and careers through NLC.
“We are grateful to Shell and Rumble Industries for supporting hands-on-learning for youth in our area.”
The camps are for youth aged 12 to 16 and run for five days, so there’s still plenty of summer left over for vacations! Read on for the list of camps available.
