After being off the roster for a few years, Northern Lights College (NLC) is pleased to have piping trades back on the list of offered programs!
The Piping Trades Foundation Certificate program — which includes plumbing, pipe-fitting, and steam-fitting — is accepting applications for Fall 2024.
“The community asked, and we’ve answered,” says Rod Cork, Acting Dean of Trades and Apprenticeships for NLC. “We’ve had a lot of interest from across our region and are grateful for the conversations that tell us that Piping Trades apprentices are needed in our communities, so we’re making it happen this Fall.”
Piping Trades Foundation is a foundation or entry level training program which covers both the Plumbing and Pipe Fitter Level 1 learning outcomes, enabling graduates to progress into either trade pathway for Level 2.
