In Airport Manager, you’ll learn how airport managers develop manuals that meet regulatory requirements and support safe, efficient airport operations. These manuals play a vital role in ensuring that airports remain compliant, organized, and prepared for daily activity.

You will gain hands-on experience creating an Airport Operations Manual (AOM)—a key document outlining how an airport functions and maintains safety standards. The course will also cover the development of manuals for airside operations, which govern the movement, parking, and takeoff of aircraft.

By the end of the course, you will understand how to write effective operational plans that align with Canadian aviation regulations and promote safety and reliability across all airport activities.

Airport Management Series Recognition:
To earn the Airport Management Series recognition, students must complete the following courses: Airside Maintainer, Airside Applications, and Airport Manager. The knowledge and experience gained through Airside Maintainer and Airside Applications will prepare you to take on the responsibilities of an Airport Manager at a certified airport in Canada.
