This course introduces you to Transport Canada’s Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices, which set the foundation for safe and efficient airport operations. These national standards are required for airports to obtain and maintain certification.
Through this course, you will learn how to apply these regulations in day-to-day airport operations, assess compliance, and identify safety or operational issues. The course also covers inspection procedures and proper methods for reporting non-compliance to ensure corrective actions are taken.
By the end of the course, you will have the skills to interpret and implement aerodrome standards, perform airport inspections, and contribute to maintaining safe, compliant, and well-managed airport environments.
