This course introduces airport workers to the Safety Management System (SMS) used across certified airports to maintain safe and efficient operations. You will learn how to identify workplace hazards, complete accurate safety reports, and conduct simple risk assessments to help prevent incidents and injuries.

The course provides practical, hands-on experience using safety reporting tools and completing required forms. You will also review safe work practices for airside areas, including working around runways, vehicles, and aircraft, as well as the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Through real-world examples and guided activities, students will develop the skills and confidence to recognize hazards, report safety concerns, and follow safe work procedures. This training supports a proactive safety culture and helps ensure airport operations remain safe for everyone.

This program is for those who are interested in entering the customer service industry or for those who want to advance in their current role in customer service.
