
The Asclepius Roadshow Medical Camp for Youth is a 2-day camp to give youth in Grades 10-12 exposure to careers in the medical field, inform them about the financial options to fund their medical education and inspire them to dream big.
Students will learn about the application and interview process for medical school and will learn about organ identification through a Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) machine, Wilderness Medicine for patient management in a non-hospital setting, cardiopulmonary exams and ankle taping for high-intensity sport.
Lunch and snacks for both days are included in the tuition cost. Students must be enrolled in grades 10-12 at the time of the camp.
Please bring:
- Water bottle
- Notebook and pen
- Shorts & t-shirt for POCUS (can wear to class or change)
- 3 random objects from home for the wilderness medicine session
