This unpaid practicum provides students with an opportunity to put into practice program theory from both the lab and classroom in structured project led by various industry sponsors. Students gain an enriched understanding of the relationship between program theory, terminology, and day to day field duties from multiple experts in the field and an opportunity to collaborate on the experiences with their peers.
Prerequisites: Must be a student in good standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher after a minimum of 36 credits applicable to the Environmental Restoration Diploma or permission of the Chair, AND appropriate safety tickets and training as required by the practicum sponsor.
Restrictions: Must be in Environmental Restoration Diploma (ENRD.2) or Environmental Site Assessment Technician Certificate (ESAT)
