Program Description

This course is the definitive guide to the principles of sound dog breeding. If you’re a veterinary assistant or preparing to become one, this course will help you understand the essential facts so that you can knowledgeably converse with clients on the complexities of canine reproduction.
Program Delivery

Total hours – 24

This program is delivered through online learning and consists of reading, hands on assignments, knowledge quizzes and final exam.

Course Schedule

    • Option 1: Online, Self-Guided begin anytime on or after April 1
    • Option 2: Online, Instructor-moderated, begins April 17
    • Option 3: Online, Instructor-moderated, begins May 15
    • Option 4: Online, Instructor-moderated, begins June 12

      • This course can be taken on either a PC, Mac, or Chromebook.

Software Requirements:

      • PC: Windows 8 or later.
      • PC: Mac: macOS 10.6 or later.
      • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible.
      • Adobe Acrobat Reader.
      • Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
