Part A of the Power Engineering program examines mathematics, mechanics, and safety as they apply to plant and boiler operations. Topics include an in-depth look at the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Act, mechanical drawings, boiler design, boiler parts and fittings, and feedwater treatment.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Power Engineering Program

Restrictions: Must be in the Power Engineering Program (PWENG1).
