ECED215 Curriculum 4 Working with Children with Diverse Abilities

(3.0 credits)

Early Childhood students will continue to increase their skills, abilities, and knowledge in the care and guidance of children from infancy to the kindergarten years. Emphasis is on addressing diverse abilities in curriculum development and environments. Child development principles will provide the basis for program planning and implementation. The importance of working with families and network professionals will be discussed.

Restrictions: Must be in an ECE program (ECEC2)

Other Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check -Schedule B "works with children" or "works with children and vulnerable adults." Admission to the Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma Program. 

Lecture Hours: 45
