EDAS244 High School Literacy and Numeracy

(3.0 credits)

This course offers Education Assistants fundamental skills for working with literacy and numeracy learners in a high school setting.

Restrictions: Must be in the Education Assistant or Human Services programs (EDAS1, EDAS2, EDAS…X60, HSPD1)

Other Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with "children" or works with "children and vulnerable adults." Admission to Education Assistant Program or Human Services Advanced Professional Development Program.
