SOST030 Intermediate Social Studies

(80 contact hours)

Students will develop an awareness of their roles, responsibilities and rights as Canadian citizens. This will be achieved through a study of Canada’s multi-cultural nature, its system of government, law and economics, and its principles of citizenship

Prerequisites: "C" or higher in ENGL 026  or ENGL09 or equivalent or Intermediate Level Placement on the CCP English Assessment; 

Restrictions: Must have been admitted to an NLC program.

Other Prerequisites: Word Processing Skills; Computer Skills
