This course is for students needing to refresh their English skills. This course will provide a basic overview of English concepts such as vocabulary, sentence and paragraph writing, and reading comprehension. This course incorporates topics that will set the learner up for success such as study skills, time management, test taking skills and creating a learner portfolio. This course will assist the student to build and reflect on their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual readiness to engage in an academic program.
Restrictions: Must have been admitted to an NLC program.
