FRPC304 Supporting Families With Children With Diverse Abilities

This course examines the diverse abilities of children who are likely to attend Family Resource Programs. Focusing on the scope of children with diverse abilities, students will learn specific approaches that promote engagement and inclusion. Examination of the research on children with diverse abilities will provide an understanding for how practitioners can support parents in promoting children’s strengths to assist them in overcoming challenges. Students will have an opportunity to design space that facilitates involvement and inclusion.
